INSTRUCTIONS
------------

To run SUPER MARIO 74: TEN YEARS AFTER, you must first get:

- A clean, unmodified ROM copy of Super Mario 64 (USA version only)
- Project64 (v1.6 is common, or late versions)
- Floating IPS (or Flips for short)

In Floating IPS, click on "Apply Patch". Next, select the .bps patch and then the ROM file. Once selected, save the new ROM file (the name will auto-generate itself).

Once done, you can now close LunarIPS.

In Project64, select the ROM and let it run. But first, I recommend that you go to "Options" then "ROM Settings" and configure the following:

CPU core style: Recompiler (optional)
Self-modifying code Method: Check Memory Advance
ROM Memory Size: 8MB
Counter Factor: 1

Then click on "OK" and reset the emulator.

Also for those who likes smoother gameplay, go to "Plugins" and switch the default plugins to "GlideN64" for the graphics and "zilmar's Audio Plugin" for the sound.

In addition, this includes the "StarDisplay" layout used with the program to track down the stars in-game. Or don't use it even, if you're into blind gameplay experience.
